Urvi Naik got her official start in real estate about 12 years ago, but her passion for design and architecture goes way back. She grew up in Mumbai, India, where her parents invested in real estate. Her father bought investment properties in India and around the world, while Urvi learned by watching him invest and the valuable conversations they shared.
She moved to the US in 2008 and attended Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, earning a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. While she loved her job as an O.T. and working with children, she didn’t love the 9-5 schedule. Desiring more flexibility, Urvi followed an interest in real estate that had been planted by her parents and nurtured by her own involvement with investment properties.
Urvi completed her license in 2012 and quickly decided to pursue real estate full time when she realized how much she loved it. Eleven years later, Urvi has an enviable 90% repeat and referral rate. She sees her strengths as an agent in building relationships with clients, being a trusted source of guidance throughout the process of buying a home or investment property from start to finish.
Urvi stays in touch with clients throughout the year in various ways. In fact, at least half of her clients have turned into friends. Helping her clients to secure investments that will generate the most returns or being part of the important journey of finding their forever home are the parts of the job that give Urvi the most satisfaction. She loves to be the knowledgeable real estate advisor they can rely on.
Urvi serves the Austin, Texas area specializing in relocation buyers, luxury, and new developments. Urvi has always worked as a solo agent, though she has exciting plans for future growth and aspires to double her production over the next couple of years. Currently, she employs a virtual assistant and a transaction coordinator. Urvi also incorporates modern technology into her marketing plan along with AI. In fact, Urvi joined Compass because of the cutting-edge technology they offer to provide the best service and results to her clients.
With growth comes change, and Urvi has continued to evolve over her 11 years in real estate becoming the best and most knowledgeable REALTOR she can be. A year after she earned her real estate licence, Uvri purchased her first investment property with her husband, Jay. Since then, they have bought and maintained several other investment properties, which is one thing Urvi’s investors love about working with her: her hands-on knowledge.
Following her success with the investment properties, Urvi also flipped houses, gaining knowledge that allowed her to venture into new construction, development, and representing builders. New construction has become her speciality, so it’s no wonder she formed a new home construction company in collaboration with the other investor clients. She also earned her broker’s license about two years ago.
Between new builds and new clients, Urvi enjoys spending time with her husband, Jay, their eight year old son, Kian, and their two fur babies, a Maltipoo and a Toy Poodle.
Urvi’s favorite pastimes include biking, golfing, and hosting pool parties. She also loves visiting local breweries and trying out new restaurants. Her favorite restaurants include Aba downtown, Red Ash for Italian food, and Uchi for sushi.
